A great pitch does this. In all my years pitching artists and talent, Hollywood directors, retailers, VC’s, corporate boards, teams, analysts, clients - and even my own kids - I’ve learnt that driving successful action comes from a simple change in mindset and approach. And it’s this:
Pitching isn’t selling. A great pitch simply helps someone make a decision, in your favor. It’s a service for your audience.
This service mindset changes everything. It removes all the barriers and fears you might have about what it means to pitch.
You don’t need to be in sales. And you don’t need to be a good presenter to deliver a great pitch.
